PRE-OPENING RECEPTION

Beautiful art installations will  highlight this year’s opening reception. Join your fellow guests from around the world as Antonio Contreras unveils his 3 murals inspired by global fashion and art icons. Installations will also include works from Paris based Michael Stervinou, Florence Italy based Rossano B. Maniscalchi, and New York based Formento & Formento. Network managers will be on hand to start getting you introduced around and making good contacts. Held in the new and ultra modern restaurant multiplex theater venue called “The Lot”, the evening promises to be an event not to be missed! 

FRIDAY JULY 29

8 – 10:30pm

OPENING NIGHT SCREENING PROGRAM 

Filmmakers from all over the world will be presenting their nominated films in the main theater at the modern art museum in La Jolla. After reviewing over 11,000 films, these are the best! Pick up your wrist bands at the registration table in front of the museum between 7 and 8pm. Simply mention you are on the Guest List and you’re in!  VENUE: (MCASD – MAIN THEATER)

A few short blocks from the theater is our After Party. “The Lot” is ultra modern and ultra cool. The place to be seen and meet new people.

Bring your cameras as the glitterati of the fashion film world hit the Red Carpet. Early arrivals start at 3pm. Many of the costumes and fabulous wardrobe pieces seen in the nominated films will be on display. VENUE: IN FRONT OF MCASD

AFTERNOON SCREENING

The dazzling beauty on the big screen continues with film presentations from around the world. This program consists of nominated films that are in contention for the IFFAs on Saturday night.  VENUE: (MCASD – MAIN THEATER)

INTERNATIONAL FASHION FILM AWARDS
