Fashion’s freshest event attracts worldwide attention and top professionals

Sydney and Peter spend most of their time speaking and lecturing on the international film festival circuit. ZOE HITCHEN

Zoe Hitchen is a London based fashion filmmaker making her debut as a solo director at this years 2012 La Jolla Fashion Film Festival.

London based Fashion Filmmaker, Director and Photographer Zoe Hitchen studied BA (Hons) Design and Art Direction at Manchester Metropolitan University. On graduating, Zoe was selected by Creative Director Malcolm Garrett and introduced to London based Fashion Photographer, Nick Knight.

After working alongside Nick Knight at SHOWstudio.com as a Graphic Design Intern and Photographic Assistant. It wasn’t long before Zoe was approached by Knight to take the prestigious role as his First Assistant. Zoe continued to work alongside Knight and also collaborated on Fashion Films for clients and his website SHOWstudio.com.

This year Zoe made her solo Directing debut, and was successfully selected by fashion photographer Rankin to feature as part of the ‘Dig The New Breed’ of Fashion Filmmakers exhibition which he curated with his wife Tuuli at Annroy Gallery during London Fashion Week. This season also, Zoe’s film for French Haute Coiffeur and Designer ‘Charlie le Mindu’ was premiered at Le Trianon during Paris Fashion Week and received high acclaim from Industry.

Zoe also works as fashion Contributing Editor at Hungry Eye Magazine.
